This was a great place for an Italian dinner, several specials. Nice comfy atmosphere. They owner stopped by our table to say hello. The server Jackie Robinson was delightful and attentive. Friendly staff, they had a nice selection of deserts, and we had their signature desert a tulip made of chocolate filled with chocolate mouse and tiramisu topped with what seemed to be home made whipped cream yummy Thanks, Jackie and Gio !!

Great Night Out in Oak Park! La Notte is indeed a gem. For me this quaint spot on Marion Street checks all of the boxes. Fresh, Authentic, Family Owned and Managed, Passionate, Engaged, Flexible. The wine list was wonderful. The Limoncello a delight, the cannoli a dream. The amazing attention to detail is rarely found in the business these days and it was truly appreciated during our evening. The Italian sea bass was plated table side and not a single bone remained. It was perfectly complimented by the grilled vegetables and prepared to order pasta. I am told it is made from scratch daily. (it sure tasted like it was) If you don't see it on the menu.. ask and they will prepare it for you! I am looking forward to my future experiences at La Notte in Oak Park!

We had our welcome party for our wedding at La Notte and had a great experience! Gio was really helpful in terms of helping us organize everything, and everybody really enjoyed the food on the day (our guests especially raved about the desserts). We also dined there for just a regular meal beforehand and would recommend that as well!

I went here with my boyfriend yesterday, on Valentine’s Day and we ordered a glass of sweet white wine, fettuccine alfredo and rigatoni vodka and it was very good, we finished everything. The wait for our food took like an hour and a half and it took just as long to get the bill but I didn’t mind, my boyfriend did mind though but we still had a great evening. I liked that the servers didn’t bother us too much and it wasn’t too loud which I appreciate. Our reservation was at nine and we were seated at probably 9:15 which was fine. I don’t know how much it was because I didn’t pay. The only thing I didn’t like at this restaurant is that everyone had to wear their coats inside because the AC was on in the area of the restaurant I was in. I didn’t like this because it was snowing and 20 degrees outside. I would come back here but I don’t know what else I would try. I would definitely recommend what we ordered though and it was a great portion.

It has been a long time since I have had a “dining experience!” We went to La Notte In Oak Park to celebrate my granddaughter‘s graduation. Giovanni and Jackie, (The executive chef and owner and a staff member he was training) gave us incredible service and a really lovely evening. The food was really delicious, everyone at the table was very pleased. After starting our meal with some bruschetta, that normally came with an order of four pieces, but they gave us five as they were five at our table. Small thoughtful things like that occurred all evening. Three of us had the house salad with an incredible house dressing and my son-in-law had red clam chowder he said was delicious. My granddaughter had fried soft, shell crab, my daughter and son-in-law, each had a different veal dish, my grandson had chicken Alfredo and I had a wonderful shrimp dish with a kick. There was also incredible warm Italian bread With a Parmesan and olive oil blend that was so good. We had two orders of that bread. I don’t drink, but the others shared two bottles of wine, reasonably priced, chosen by Giovanni. He served us all evening with Professionalism, fun, and humor. Finally, we ended our meal with some lovely desserts, of course we were all sharing spoonfuls and there was not one that was disappointing. Chocolate mousse was exquisite, creme brulee was perfect, my traditional spumoni ice cream was smooth, creamy, and I am sure homemade. My son-in-law had an espresso with that same ice cream in it and a bit of whipped cream on top. We thought we were all done with our meal. When Giovanni told us to hang on a few minutes. He came back and introduced the rest of the table to limoncello. They all enjoyed this very much and it was a warm and lasting ending to our meal. I am so grateful that they made my granddaughters celebration a memory of a lifetime. Unforgettable. I highly recommend this restaurant. I am sorry there are not more pictures, we were too busy enjoying. I didn’t even think about it until dessert. Also honorable mention here for the busser, he was like a ghost appearing, and then going away again, keeping our table clear of all dirty dishes. The amount been per person includes wine, meals, tax, and tip. Very reasonable.
